Teach Our History.
Secure Our Future.
Vote Yes on November 3.
For about $30 a year, voters in Wayne and Oakland counties can make sure the next generation grows up knowing where they come from.
By voting yes on November 3, The Detroit Historical Society and Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History will be able to secure:
Free admission for every county resident.
Free tours and transportation for students and seniors.
Ten years of stable, publicly audited funding.
15% of funds will support other public history museums in the counties.
Two Institutions.
One Story.

Getting involved starts with the people you already know. Share the campaign, follow along, and talk to the neighbors who trust your voice, because moving someone from undecided to yes most often happens one conversation at a time.
“Ensuring that generations, especially young African Americans, are made aware of and take pride in the history of their forebears and their remarkable struggle for freedom.”
